The TV personality wrote on Instagram, “I am very lucky to be getting fantastic medical treatment and on the road to recovery.”
Al Roker is healing after being sent to the hospital last week for blood clots, according to the weather anchor for the NBC “Today” show.
“So many of you have respectfully inquired as to my whereabouts. Roker, 68, said on Instagram that he was hospitalised last week due to a blood clot in his leg that had spread to his lungs.
He commented, “I am very blessed to be getting fantastic medical treatment and on the road to recovery after some medical whack-a-mole.” “I appreciate the prayers and well wishes, and I hope to see you soon. Enjoy your weekends, everyone.
On the broadcast and online, his co-anchors sent him their best wishes.
